Thompson's outside shooting helps lift USA over Canada, squad moves on to semifinals

Washington State University men's basketball guard Klay Thompson scored nine points, all from 3-point range, as Team USA downed Canada 93-73 in the FIBA U19 World Championship in Auckland, New Zealand.

Thompson was 3-of-4 from 3-point range in 16 minutes of play. Team USA will now take on Croatia in the tournament semifinals.
