Thompson scores five as US rallies for win, advances to FIBA U19 Championship game

Washington State University men's basketball guard Klay Thompson tallied five points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots as Team USA rallied to defeat Croatia 81-77 at the FIBA U19 World Championship in Auckland, New Zealand.

Thompson started at guard and logged 20 minutes. The US squad, which last won a FIBA U19 gold in 1991, rallied from a 59-57 deficit in the fourth quarter and now advances to face Greece in the tournament finals.
