Taylor Rochestie scored 18 points and the Washington State University men's basketball team shot 54 percent from the field en route to a 70-49 victory over California Thursday night in Berkeley.
Kyle Weaver added 17 points for the Cougars, who won for the fifth time in six games.

Aron Baynes and Taylor Rochestie each had 10 points and six rebounds to help lead the Washington State University men's basketball team to a 59-47 win over Arizona State University Thursday night in Pullman.
The Cougar defense had eight steals and limited the Sun Devils to 33 percent shooting from the field. Derrick Low tallied 15 points to lead all WSU scorers.

Weaver shot a perfect 8-for-8 from the field, and in tallying his first basket of the game he became a 1,000-point scorer for the Cougars.

Cougs fall to Cardinal in OT, 67-65
Washington State University guards Derrick Low and Kyle Weaver combined to score 42 points but they weren't enough as Stanford downed the Cougars 67-65 in overtime.
